Sabor Del Cañaveral

Sabor del Cañaveral are pages torn from the book of the experiences of the humble sugar cane field worker. The purpose of this work is to bring to remembrance past experiences that are part of our Puerto Rican culture. The author paints an imaginary picture which shows a contrast between the life of the landowner compared to the sufferings of the life of the poor worker. Existence which we cannot forget because it would be breaking the link that unites us to the Puerto Rican culture.
