Sinopsis del libro
Writer, professor and journalist Margo Glantz was born in Mexico City in 1930. In 1995 she became a member of the Mexican Academy of the Spanish Language. This first volume of her Collected Works begins with Indian narratives. It then continues with the central figure of her studies: Sor Juana In$es de la Cruz. Glantzs work shows how women made inroads into the world of literature from within the cloister. This rewarding analysis uncovers the hidden secrets of Sor Juanas age and its literature. Glantz uses her novelists pen to help the reader understand the social, cultural, political and religious aspects of those times.
