Pablo is a schizophrenic boy whose life is tormented by voices that have been inside his head since his childhood. His life came to a halt when his girlfriend, Andrea, left him. He spends day after day analyzing his loneliness and self-destructive impulses. Through clichés of the subject, Rubén Guallar offers intimate thoughts and struggles of a young schizophrenic. Through a bold and effective formal prose, he succeeds in immersing the reader in the fragmented world of the protagonist, and thereby, we get to connect, have sympathy for him, and laugh with him.
