The population of a far off town lives in fear. They are afraid of the dark and afraid of the forest that surrounds their town. This fear began one dark night when all of their animals mysteriously disappeared, never to be seen again. The only information they have is that the one responsible for it all is the evil demon, Nehi. Maya and Maty, two very different children who share a secret, decide to brave the forest and discover the truth.
